Adventure Kingdom Academy will be closed in observance of the following holidays and scheduled breaks each year:

  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day

  • President’s Day

  • Good Friday

  • Memorial Day

  • Juneteenth (June 19th) and the day after Juneteenth

  • Independence Day (July 4th) and the day after Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Columbus Day

  • Veteran’s Day

  • Thanksgiving Week:

    • Wednesday before Thanksgiving

    • Thanksgiving Day

    • Day after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve (early closure at 12:00 PM)

  • Christmas Day

  • Day after Christmas Eve (December 26th)

  • One Week Winter Break (typically the week between Christmas and New Year’s – specific dates announced annually)

  • Staff Development & Professional Training Days (announced in advance)

Additional closure dates (due to weather, public health advisories, or emergencies) will be announced via ClassDojo, the Playground App, and email notifications.

Tuition remains the same during holiday closures, as operational and staffing expenses remain consistent year-round.

  • 6:30 AM – Arrival & Breakfast

  • 8:30 AM – Circle Time, Devotion

  • 9:00 AM – Learning Centers (Language, Math, Science)

  • 11:00 AM – Outdoor Play

  • 12:00 PM – Lunch

  • 12:30 PM – Nap or Quiet Time

  • 2:30 PM – Snack & Enrichment

  • 4:00 PM – Parent Pick-up

The Playground app is a comprehensive childcare management platform that streamlines operations, enhances communication, and supports child development tracking for daycare centers and preschools.

  1. Child Management: Playground allows educators to document each child's learning journey, track attendance, and monitor health and safety updates. It provides tools for recording learning moments through photos, videos, and audio, fostering family engagement.

  2. Communication Tools: The app facilitates real-time communication between parents, teachers, and administrators. Parents can receive updates via photos and videos, while teachers can share announcements and manage parent interactions through messaging features.

  3. Operational Efficiency: Playground includes features for billing, registration, attendance tracking, and payroll management. This all-in-one solution helps childcare providers save time and reduce administrative burdens, allowing them to focus more on child care and education.

  4. Health and Safety Monitoring: The app enables educators to keep secure records of children's health, including nutrition, sleep, and medication reports. This ensures that all health-related information is easily accessible and well-documented.
