The Struggle That Started It All

When my kids were small, I found myself calling every childcare center in my hometown, asking the same questions: "Do you have space? Can I afford it? Will my children be safe and loved?" Too often, the answer was no to at least one of those questions. As a working single mother, I had to take what I could get - but my children deserved so much better.

I'll never forget sitting in my car outside yet another childcare center, tears streaming down my face, feeling helpless and alone. That moment changed everything. I promised myself that someday, I would create the place I desperately needed but couldn't find.

From Classroom to Dream

For over 10 years, I've dedicated my life to education, working in classrooms and watching other parents face the same impossible choices I did. I've seen brilliant women turn down promotions because they couldn't find reliable childcare. I've watched families choose between paying rent and paying for quality care. But I've also witnessed the incredible impact of excellent early childhood education on a child's entire future.

Now that my children have graduated high school, I'm ready to turn that promise into reality. Adventure Kingdom Academy isn't just another childcare center - it's my answer to every prayer I whispered as a struggling parent. It's proof that working families shouldn't have to choose between their careers and their children's wellbeing.

At Adventure Kingdom Academy, we provide exceptional early childhood education rooted in Christian values, fostering academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth in a safe, loving environment. We serve hardworking parents who deserve quality options for their children.

Why Columbus, Georgia?

Columbus faces a significant shortage of high-quality, affordable childcare options. Too many families are making the same impossible choices I faced years ago. Adventure Kingdom Academy will serve up to 61 children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, creating 11 local jobs while meeting Georgia's Early Learning Development Standards (GELDS) and maintaining Bright from the Start compliance.
